The interior of the new Gallery Restaurant space at Bird in Hand was created by interior designer Zoe Elvish and enhances the existing building's unique vista over the vineyard and rolling hills. An eclectic mix of furniture, including custom pieces by Justin Hermes, furnish a light-filled and intimate space surrounded by contemporary works of art. Chef Paul Gillespie, former Hilton Hotel chef, has designed the new menu to compliment the Bird in Hand portfolio of wines. Guests are invited to take a wine pairing journey or order limited release wines, including a Pinot Gris and Arneis, from the list. The Gallery Restaurant is part of Bird in Hand's ongoing collaboration with the Arts and is part of a thriving cultural landscape in the Adelaide Hills wine and food region. The restaurant is open for lunch on Friday, weekends and public holidays.
